A group of 130 year old warehouses on the original waterfront of Toronto is the site of the converted St. Lawrence Lofts. It's centered in the St. Lawrence Market area and was finished by the Georgian Group in 2002, preserving this grand collection of buildings. Lofts are as compact as 480 sq. ft. but can be as large as 1300 sq. ft. and are situated in four levels with two level mezzanine lofts on the top floor.
Ceiling heights are 10 to 16 feet tall. Character abounds in the 54 true lofts with the original brick and timber. Prices are on the high end of medium beginning at $400 per sq. ft. and rising to $500 per sq. ft. but there is no parking.
However, location is key in this instance with most everything well within short walking distances. Condo fees are roughly .41 per sq. ft. but that also includes utilities even though there are no facilities offered.
