Bob Mitchell is responsible for converting this former machine shop into this 10 loft-style condominium in 1983. Just off Dovercourt and north of Bloor Street West, 41 Shanly Street became one of Toronto's first condo loft transformations. One bedroom units at 800 sq. ft. to the multi-bedrooms at 1800 sq. ft. begin about $350 per sq. ft.
Ceiling heights are up to 16 ft. and provide most of the light through overhead skylights. Some units have outdoor spaces, some have parking in a private garage, but all the lofts have a private roof deck and a fireplace. The 41 Shanly Street condo lofts sell quickly.
